The recent United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) meetings in New York provided an opportunity for the global education community to reflect on the progress made since the Transforming Education Summit (TES) during UNGA 2022. While many of the discussions echoed familiar themes from the previous year, such as the urgent need for deep transformation to address complex crises like economic inequality, authoritarianism, pandemics, climate change, and racial and gender oppression, there were also new perspectives that emerged.
