Malaysia-UK Trade Hits RM17.3 Billion in Latest Figures, Announces Deputy Minister 💸💰
A major milestone was reached in trade between Malaysia and the United Kingdom last year, with RM17.3 billion (about US$3.79 billion) in sales, according to Liew Chin Tong, the Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry. Liew emphasized the strong commercial links between the two countries during the opening of the British Malaysia Chamber of Commerce's (BMCC) new headquarters in Kuala Lumpur. The UK is Malaysia's 21st largest trading partner, while Malaysia is 41st for the UK.
