China Boosts Educational Ties: 1,000 Scholarships for Malaysian Post-TVET Students
The Chinese government has announced the extension of 1,000 scholarships for Malaysian post-Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) students, marking a significant step towards improving bilateral educational collaboration. This development was disclosed in a recent announcement by Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, the Deputy Prime Minister.
Selected students will be able to train in China for three months to a year in a variety of professions as part of this effort. This initiative is in line with China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), which aims to promote cooperation and information sharing among the member countries.
